Associazione Tartufai delle Rocche del Roero APS

Il tartufo si è molto ridotto nonostante ci siano molti più boschi di 50 anni fa, però in realtà il territorio non coltivato non si trasforma più in boschi ma bensì in aree degradate, quindi il tartufo non trova spazio perché vive ai bordi tra il coltivato, il bosco e le rocche, cresce spontaneo nelle cosiddette tartufaie.
Il bosco e le rocche devono tornare ad avere un pieno valore - in primo luogo in materia ambientale, in attuazione di quell'ecologia integrata, un patrimonio non solo da contemplare, bensì da gestire efficacemente, con tagli mirati , nuove piantumazioni, per difendere le tartufaie.
Senza le tartufaie non ci sono i tartufi, la tartufaie sono aree di biodiversità e quindi è interesse generale tutelarle e farle crescere.
L'associazione promuove azioni di pulizia di boschi e rocche, messa a dimora di piante da tartufo, attiva collaborazioni con specialisti per progettare nuove aree tartufigene, stipula contratti di affitto a tutela sia di piante che di aree tartufigene.
Il nostro obiettivo più che promuovere è difendere, custodire, considerare il territorio come opera d'arte, come un sogno, il focus sta nella riscoperta del non coltivato.La forza del tartufo bianco delle rocche del Roero, sta :

• nel selvatico, è un fungo, non è coltivabile
• nella capacità di incanalare le emozioni come il rapporto tra il cane e tartufai che si studiano e si amano a vicenda
• nel gestire il conflitto potenziale tra il coltivatore e il tartufaio mettendoli in contatto e facendoli convergere su interessi comuni.

The truffle is very reduced even though there are many more woods 50 years ago, but in reality the uncultivated territory is no longer transformed into woods but rather into degraded areas, so the truffle does not find space because it lives on the borders between the cultivated, the forest and the fortresses, grows spontaneously in the so-called truffles. The forest and the fortresses must return to have a full value - first in environmental matters, in implementation of that integrated ecology, a heritage not only to be contemplated, but to manage effectively, with targeted cuts, new plantings, to defend the truffle. Without truffles there are no truffles, truffles are areas of biodiversity and therefore it is in general interest to protect them and make them grow. The association promotes cleaning actions of woods and fortresses, planting of truffle plants, active collaborations with specialists to design new truffle areas, signing leases to protect both plants and truffle areas. Our goal rather than promoting is to defend, preserve, consider the territory as a work of art, like a dream, the focus lies in the rediscovery of the uncultivated. The strength of the white truffle of the Rocero rocks is: 

> in the wild, it is a fungus, it is not cultivable 

> in the ability to channel emotions as the relationship between the dog and truffles that are studied and love each other in managing the potential conflict between the farmer and the truffle, 

> putting them in contact and making them converge on common interests.
